El Poal has been run by the Bellido family since June 2021, on Passeig Blasco Ibáñez in Vinaròs, facing Platja del Fortí beach.

From brasserie to octopus and rice specialists
We opened in June 2021 at number 16, Passeig Blasco Ibáñez, when Rafael Bellido García and Christian Bellido Estepa launched Brasserie El Poal. We started out as a brasserie and beer hall, then grew into a pulpería and arrocería — Spanish terms for an octopus restaurant and a rice specialist. Today the menu carries more than twenty rice dishes, with chargrilled octopus as our signature. In 2026, La Cullera del Poal opens four doors down, on the same promenade.
